Blogmas Day 3 - Christmas Tree Reveal

Welcome to Blogmas Day 3 everyone! I hope you're all having a lovely festive beginning to your December and that you're relaxed and stress free!

For today's Blogmas post, I thought I'd do something which I've seen around quite a bit so I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon for, and that's a Christmas tree reveal. I don't know about you guys, but I really like being nosey and seeing how other people do their Christmas trees - so I thought I'd share mine for you all to see.

So this is my Christmas tree for 2016 and I can honestly say it's the best one I've seen from my family, like ever. I've only helped to do the tree for the past... 6-ish years? But this one has definitely been my favourite out of all the Christmas trees I've had in my 19 years of living.

Myself and my mum went to two shops today to buy just a few little extras for the tree, nothing too jazzy or expensive or anything... Every decoration you see in the picture is brand new.

The tree was bought about 3 years ago when I moved into my new house and I love it. Pre lit trees are my favourite, even though I love the real Christmas trees - I just find these more convenient to have and there's no shedding to deal with.

The decorations are from The Range and Buyology, and both places were not too bad with their prices of things. I did pick a few of the different decorations myself and my mum went a long with them, so I'll show you my favourite pieces from the tree this year.

All of these pieces came from The Range and they all definitely cost less than £2 each, which isn't too bad to be honest. They're all beautiful and I haven't seen decorations like them before.

Each year, my mum and I usually decide on a colour scheme and go with it (last year it was pastel pink, green, blue and purple, and the year before was silver and multiple shades of blue but you can probably guess it's white/silver and blue this year).
Usually, it goes off what my mum wants to have on it, but this year I kind of took charge and this is what we ended up with.

What does your Christmas tree look like this year? Are you yet to put yours up? Does looking at other people's tree reveals make you feel festive and excited? Let me know!

  1. I love the silvery theme of your tree, it looks great! :) we actually haven't put our tree up yet cause my family usually waits until we're two weeks into December but I can't wait to decorate it. My mum and I always do that together & it's one of my favourite things during Christmas time x

    1. Aw thank-you! I really like it too, to be honest. I'm so excited to see your tree if you do a tree reveal, I'm so nosey haha!
